I read an interesting story about Sam Houston Jr, the son of the man that was the first president of Texas.

In the Civil War he was shot in the back. He would have died, but the bullet went right through his knapsack and got stuck in the Bible that he carried there. It stopped right in Psalms 70, a verse that said, “He is my help and my deliverer.” And his life was saved by the Word of God.

Now I want to suggest to you in a very profound way in a spiritual sense, when Satan throws his darts and his arrows your way, what’s going to protect you and save you is the Word of God.
